Psalm 1:

1. Blessed is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather.
2. But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law - the precepts, instructions, the teachings of God - he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. [2 Tim. 3: 16; Gal. 3: 1 - 29; Rom. 13: 8 - 10.]
3. And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth his fruit in its season; his leaf also shall not fade or wither, and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity. [Jer. 17: 7, 8.]
4. Not so the wicked [those disobedient and living without God are not so]. But they are like the chaff [worthless, dead, without substance] which the wind drives away.
5. Therefore the wicked, those disobedient [and living without God], shall not stand [justified] in the judgment; nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous [those who are upright and in right standing with God].

But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener and Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall - will remind you of, bring to your remembrance - everything I have told you. (also John 8:12; 15: 26-27; 16: 7-16, James 1: 5 - 7)

John 15: 7

7. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.
("if" indicates uncertainty, do you live in Christ?)

John 16: 1

1. These things have I spoken unto you, that you should not be offended.

John 16: 23 - 24

23. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
24. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name (Jesus): ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Acts 1: 5 - 8 Jesus speaking  (Ampl.) Also read Acts 2:all

5. For John baptized with water, but not many days from now you shall be baptized with - placed in, introduced into - the Holy Spirit.
8. But you shall receive power - ability, efficiency and might - when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends - the very bounds - of the Earth.

Acts 2: 16 - 18, (Peter speaking)

16. But [instead,] this is [the beginning of] what was spoken through the prophet Joel:
17. And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy - telling forth the divine counsels - and your young men shall see visions (that is, divinely granted appearances), and your old men shall dream [divinely suggested] dreams.
18. Yes, and on My menservants also and on My maidservants in those days I will pour out of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy - telling forth the divine counsels and predicting future events pertaining especially to God's kingdom.

Acts 2: 37 - 43, (Peter speaking)

37. Now when they heard this they were stung (cut) to the heart, and they said to peter and the rest of the apostles (special messengers), Brethren, what shall we do?
38. And Peter answered them, Repent - change your view, and purpose to accept the will of God in your inner selves instead of rejecting it - and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of and release from your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
(This is referring to the baptism of the Holy Spirit which is often done at the same time a person gives their heart to Christ. The person is first saved and then empowered with the supernatural gifts of the Spirit, 1 Corinthians 12: all. This is not referring to water baptism. The entire book of Acts is one demonstration of the out pouring of the power of the Holy Spirit after another through the apostles.)

39. For the promise (of the Holy Spirit) is to and for you and your children, and to and for all that are far away, [even] to as many as the Lord our God invites and bids come to Himself.
40. And [Peter] solemnly and earnestly witnessed (testified) and admonished (exhorted) with much more continuous speaking and warned them, saying, Be saved from this crooked generation.
41. Therefore those who accepted and welcomed his message were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.
42. And they steadfastly persevered, devoting themselves constantly to the instruction and fellowship of the apostles, to the breaking of bread [including the Lord's Supper]and prayers.
43. And a sense of awe (reverential fear) came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were performed through the apostles - the special messengers.

Acts 4: (Jesus is the only way to God)

12. And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved. Also John 10: all

Acts 5: 31, (Jesus had power to forgive sins)

31. God exalted Him (Jesus) to His right hand to be Prince and Leader and Savior and Deliver and Preserver, in order to grant repentance to Israel and to bestow forgiveness and release from sins. Also Matt. 9:2-6, Luke 7:47-50,

Acts 16: 31,

31. And they answered, Believe in and on the Lord Jesus Christ-that is, give yourself up to Him, take yourself out of your own keeping and entrust yourself into His keeping, and you will be saved; (and this applies both to) you and your household as well.

Romans 1: 16 - 32, (Ampl.)

16. For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ; for it is God's power working unto salvation to every one who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek,
17. For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith.
18. For God's [holy] wrath and indignation are revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who in their wickness repress and hinder the truth and make it inoperative.
19. For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God [Himself] has shown it to them.
20. For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made. So [men] are without excuse.
21. Because when they knew and recognized Him as the God, they did not honor and glorify /him as God, or give Him thanks. But instead they became futile and godless in their thinking and their senseless minds were darkened.
22. Claiming to be wise, they became fools.
23. And by them the glory and majesty and excellence of the immortal God were exchanged for and represented by images, resembling mortal man and birds and beasts and reptiles.
24. Therefore God gave them up in the lust of their [own] hearts to sexual impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, abandoning them to the degrading power of sin.
25. Because they exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, Who is blessed forever! Amen.
26. For this reason God gave them over and abandoned them to vile affections and degrading passions. For their women exchanged their natural function for an unnatural and abnormal one;
27. And the men also turned from natural relations with women and were set ablaze with lust for one another, men committing shameful acts with men and suffering in their own bodies and personalities the inevitable consequences and penalty of their wrong doing and going astray, which was [their] fitting retribution.
28. And so, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or approve of Him or consider Him worth the knowing, God gave them over to a base and condemned mind to do things not proper or decent but loathsome;
29. Until they were filled with every kind of unrighteousness, iniquity, grasping and covetous greed, [and] malice. [They were] full of envy and jealousy, murder, strife, deceit and treachery, ill will and cruel ways. [They were] secret backbiters and gossipers,
30. Slanderers, hateful to and hating God, full of insolence, arrogance [and] boasting; inventors of new forms of evil, disobedient and undutiful to parents.
31. [They were] without understanding, conscienceless and faithless, heartless and loveless [and] merciless.
32. Through they are fully aware of God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do them themselves but approve and applaud others who practice them.

Romans 4: 24 - 25,

24. But [they were written] for our sakes too. [Righteousness, standing acceptable to God] will be granted and accredited to us also who believe - trust in, adhere to and rely on- God who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,
25. Who was betrayed and put to death because of our misdeeds and was raised to secure our justification- our acquittal, and to make our account balanced, absolving us from all guilt before God. Also Matt. 27:50-54,

Romans 6: 16

16. Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servant to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Romans 6: 23, (Jesus is both the Mediator and the deliverer of Eternal Life)

23. For the wages which sin pays is death; but the [bountiful] free gift of God is eternal life through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord. Also John 20:31, John 16:23-26

Romans 8: 9 - 17

9. But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the (Holy)Spirit of God (really) dwells within you - directs and controls you, But if any one does not possess the (Holy) Spirit of Christ, he is none of His - he does not belong to Christ (is not truly a child of God)
11. And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.
12. Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation - but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it.
13. For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live,
14. because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
15. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, abba, Father.
16. The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.
17. Now if we are children, then we are heirs - heirs of God and coheirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may share in his glory.

Romans 8: (Jesus helps us to pray) (Ampl.)

26. So too the (Holy) Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance (praying in tongues).
27. And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the (Holy) Spirit - what His intent is - because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God's will.
28. We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor], all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.

Romans 8:

31. What then shall we say to (all) this? (These things that have come against us) If God be for us, who (can be) against us? - Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?

Romans 8: 32,

32. He who did not withhold or spare (even) His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all (other) things? (including our loved ones)

Romans 8:

37. Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through him who loved us.

Romans 8: (Nothing can separate a believer from God)

38. For I am persuaded beyond doubt - am sure - that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers,
39. Nor heights, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 10:

8. But what does it say? The Word is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, the Word - the message- of faith, which we preach.
9. Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in and rely on the truth) that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10. For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses - declares openly and speaks out freely his faith - and confirms (his) salvation.
11. The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him – who adheres to, relies on and trusts in Him (Jesus) – will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed. [Isa.28:16; 49:23; Jer. 17:7-8; Ps. 34: 17-22]

1 Corinthians 2:(Amplified Bible)

12. Now we have not received the spirit (that belongs to the world, but the (Holy) Spirit Who is from God, (given to us) that we might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts (of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly) bestowed on us by God.
13. And we are setting these truths forth in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the (Holy) Spirit, combining and interpreting spiritual truths with spiritual language (to those who possess the (Holy) Spirit. (talking about speaking in tongues)
14. But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them - of progressively recognizing, understanding and becoming better acquainted with them - because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated.

1 Corinthians 9: 22 - 27, (Amp.)

22. To the weak (wanting in discernment) I have become weak (wanting in discernment) that I might win the weak and overscrupulous. I have [in short] become all things to all men, that I might by all means - at all cost and in any and every way - save some [ by winning them to faith in Jesus Christ].
23. And I do this for the sake of the good news (the Gospel), in order that I may become a participator in it and share in its [blessings along with you].
24. Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receive the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the prize] and make it yours.
25. Now every athlete who goes into training conducts himself temperately and restricts himself in all things. They do it to win a wreath that will soon wither, but we [do it to receive a crown of eternal blessedness] that cannot wither.
26. Therefore I do not run uncertainly - without definite aim. I do not box as one beating the air and striking without an adversary.
27. But [like a boxer] I buffet my body - handle it roughly, discipline it by hardship - and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit - not standing the test and be unapproved - and rejected [as a counterfeit]. (Also Chapter 10. We should all understand that you can go to hell for any sin.)

1 Corinthians 12: 4 - 12, (Amp.)

4. Now there are distinctive varieties and distributions of endowments (gifts, extraordinary powers distinguishing certain Christians, due to the power of divine grace operating in their souls by the Holy Spirit) and they vary, but the [Holy] Spirit remains the same.
5. And there are distinctive varieties of service and ministration, but it is the same Lord [Who is served].
6. And there are distinctive varieties of operation [of working to accomplish things], but it is the same God Who inspires and energizes them all in all.
7. But to each one is given the manifestation of the [Holy] Spirit [the evidence, the spiritual illumination of the [Spirit] for good and profit.
8. To one is given in and through the [Holy] Spirit [the power to speak] a message of wisdom, and to another [the power to express] a word of knowledge and understanding according to the same [Holy] Spirit:
9. To another [wonder-working] faith by the same [Holy] Spirit, to another the extraordinary powers of healing by the one Spirit.
10. To another the working of miracles, to another prophetic insight (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose}; to another the ability to discern and distinguish between [utterances of true] spirits [and false ones], to another various kinds of unknown] tongues, to another the ability to interpret [such] tongues.
11. All these [gifts, achievements, abilities] are inspired and brought to pass by one and the same [Holy] Spirit, Who apportions to each person individually [exactly] as He chooses.
12. For just as the body is a unity and yet has many parts, and all the parts, though many, form [only] one body, so it is with Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

1 Corinthians 13: Ampl.

1. If I [can] speak in the tongues of men and [even] of angels, but have not love, I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
2. And if I have prophetic powers - that is, the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose; and understand all the secret truths and mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I have (sufficient) faith so that I can remove mountains, but have not love [God's love in me] I am nothing - a useless nobody.
3. Even if I dole out all that I have [to the poor in providing] food, and if I surrender my body to be burned [or in order that I may glory], but have not love [God's love in me], I gain nothing.
4. Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy; is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.
5. It is not conceited - arrogant and inflated with pride; it is not rude (unmannerly), and does not act unbecomingly, Love [God's love in us] does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of evil done to it - pays no attention to a suffered wrong.
6. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
7. Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances and it endures everything [with out weakening].
8. Love never fails - never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end, As for prophecy, it will be fulfilled and pass away; as for tongues, they will be destroyed and cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.

1 Corinthians 14: 29 - 33, Ampl. (While these verses are talking about inspired talking or teaching they also apply to any situation where any spirit, good or bad, is trying to operate through you. If you are confused or if the spirit wants you to sin, the devil is in the works somewhere and you should not act on what the devil is telling you. God will alway do what God's Word says in love and patience. If you feel rushed or unable to think about the situation it is not from God. )

29. So, let two or three prophets speak - those inspired to preach or teach - while the rest pay attention and weigh and descern what is said.
30. But if an inspired revelation comes to another who is sitting by, then let the first one be silent.
31. For in this way you can give testimony - prophesying and thus interpreting the divine will and purpose - one by one, so that all may be instructed and all may be stimulated and encouraged;
32. For the spirit of the prophets [the speakers in tongues] are under the speaker's control [and subject to being silenced as may be necessary],
33. For He [Who is the source of their prophesying] is not a God of confusion and disorder but of pease and order. As [is the practise] in all the churches of the saints (God's people),

1 Corinthians 15:

20. But the fact is that Christ, the Messiah, has been raised from the dead, and He became the first fruit of those who have fallen asleep [in death].
21. For since [it was] through a man (Adam) that death [came into the world, it is] also through a Man (Jesus) that the resurrection of the dead [has come].
22. For just as [because of union of nature] in Adam all people die, so also [by virtue of their union of nature] shall all in Christ be made alive.

1 Corinthians 15: (KJV)

33. Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34. Awake to righteousness (your right standing with God), and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

1 Corinthians 15: (NIV)

33. Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character."
34. Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning: for there are some who are ignorant of God - I say this to your shame.

2 Corinthians 5: 15 - 20, We are Christ's ambassadors

15. And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again (Jesus).
16. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
17. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
18. All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
19. that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he committed to us the message of reconciliation.
20. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 6:

14. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath lights with darkness?

2 Corinthians 9: 6-15 (Ampl.)

6. [Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously and that blessings may come to someone, will also reap generously and with blessing.
7. Let each one [give] as he made up his own mind and purpose in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (that is He takes pleasure in prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (prompt-to-do-it) giver - whose heart is in his giving. (Prov. 22.9)
8. And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstance and whatever the need, be self-sufficient - possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation.
9. As it is written, He [the benevolent person] scatters abroad, he gives to the poor; his deeds of justice and goodness and kindness and benevolence will go on and endure forever!
10. And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness [ which manifest itself in active goodness, kindness and charity].
11. Thus you will be enriched in all things and in every way, so that you can be generous, [and your generosity as it is] administered by us will bring forth thanksgiving to God.
12. For the service the ministering of this fund renders does not only fully supply what is lacking to the saints (God's people), but it also overflows in many [cries of] thanksgiving to God.
13. Because at [your] standing of the test of this ministry, they will glorify God at your loyalty and obedience to the Gospel of Christ which you confess, as well as for your generous-hearted liberality to them and to all [the other needy ones].
14. And they yearn for you while they pray for you, because of the surpassing measure of God's grace {His favor and mercy and spiritual blessing which is shown forth} in you.
15. Now thanks be to God for His Gift, [precious] beyond telling - His indescribable, inexpressible, free Gift!

2 Corinthians 12: (Jesus is our Strength)

9. But He said to me, My grace - My favor and loving-kindness and mercy - are enough for you, [that is, sufficient against danger and to enable you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect - fulfilled and completed and show themselves most effective - in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ, the Messiah, may rest - yes, may pitch a tent [over] and swell - upon me!

Galatians 3:

1. O Foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? (They knew the fullness of what God could do and they turned back from operating in the Spirit.)
2. This only would I learn of you, Receive ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3. Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect (complete) by the flesh?
4. Have ye suffered so many things in vain?(when you could have taken authority over them.)
5. He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you (whoever he is), doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
6. Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

Galatians 5:

4. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law (works); ye are fallen from grace.
5. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
6. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision (works) availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. (the word "worketh" means: energizer)

Galatians 5: 14 - 26

16. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
17. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would.
18. But if you be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery (immorality), fornication (impurity), uncleaness, lasciviousness (indecency),
20. Idolatry, witchcraft (sorcery), hatred, variance (quarreling), emulation (jealousy), wrath (ill temper), strife, seditions (selfishness), heresies (divisions [dissensions], party spirit [factions, sects with pecular opinions, heresies]),
21. Envying, murders, drunkenness, revellings (carousing), and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22. But the fruit of the Spirit is (agape) love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness,
23. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust.
25. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
(Love is Longsuffering, gentleness, etc.; Romans 5: 5, & 13: 8-10, & 1 Cor. 8: 1-3)

Galatians 6:

7. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not (don't quit).
10. As we have there opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
16. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
(The Israel that follows God in truth and in Spirit.)

17. From henceforth let no man trouble me for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
18. brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Ephesians : 2 (Ampl.)

4. But God! So rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us,
5. Even when we were dead [slain] by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ. - He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life which He quickened Him. [For] it is by grace - by His favor and mercy which you did not deserve - that you are saved ( delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation ).
6. And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together - giving us joint seating with Him - in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus, the Messiah, the Anointed One.
7. He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus.
8. For it is by grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves - of your own doing, it came not through your own striving - but it is the gift of God;
9. Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demand], lest any man should boast. - It is not the result of what any one can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.

Ephesians 3: (KJV)

15. Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named (Jesus),
16. That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17. That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye (you), being rooted and ground in love,
18. May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breath, and length, and depth, and height;
19. And to know the love of Christ, which passeth (passes) knowledge, that ye (you) might be filled with all the fulness of God. (also Luke : 4: 18-19, John 16: 23 - 28)

Ephesians 5:

1. Therefore be imitators of God – copy Him and follow His example – as well-beloved children (imitate their father).
2. And Walk in Love – esteeming and delighting in one another – as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God (for you, so that it became) a sweet fragrance.

Ephesians 5: 6,

6. Let no one delude and deceive you with empty excuses and groundless arguments {for these are sins}, for through these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of rebellion and disobedience.

Ephesians 5:

8. For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light – lead the lives of those native-born to the Light.
9. For the fruit – the effect, the product – of Light, the Spirit, (consist) in every form of kindly goodness, up rightness of heart and trueness of life.
10. And try to learn (in your experience) what is pleasing to the Lord; - (Let your lives be constant)proofs of what is most acceptable to Him.

Ephesians 5:18 - 20,

18. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled and stimulated with the (Holy) Spirit. [Prov. 23:20]
19. Speak out to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with voices [and instruments], and making melody with all your heart to the Lord,
20. At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.

Ephesians 5: 21 - 33

21. submitting to one another in the fear of God
22. Wives, submit to your husbands, as to the Lord.
23. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. (This only applies to real CHRISTIAN husbands that really walk the walk and talk the talk. It does not apply to sinners. see 1 Cor. 11: 3, Genesis 3: 16)
24. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
25. Husbands, (Agapao or God filled love) love your wives, just as Christ also loved (Agapao or God filled love with self sacrifice and compassion) the church and gave himself for her,
26. That he might santify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.
27. That he might present it to himself a glorious church not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife Loves himself.
29. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30. For we are members of the body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

I have heard men say, "I bring the money into this house and I will say how to spend it". And I say fine, as long as you understand that you are going to stand before God and answer that all of the needs and wants of your family have been met before any of yours! And that you know now, that God does not care if the game is on. He does not care what is going on in the world. What God wants to know is, did you sacrifice yourself, your wants, your needs, for your family as He did for you? No excuses! You are in charge. You are responsible. And God wants to know where your wife’s birthday present is. I have heard guys say that their wives won’t do their part, but I say that if the guys would do their part, you would have fewer problems with the wives doing their part! . . . Perhaps this would be a good time for a prayer break!

The bottom line is that any team needs a great team leader and that is Christ. And, He has given the guys the responsibility of teaching our families how to be overcoming victors in life. And God has given us great team coleaders, our wives. The example that you set for your family will impact their lives forever. And I know that I would not care to stand before God and answer for how some (Christian) guys treat their families, and there are some bad wives too.

Ephesians 6: 1 - 18 ( the armor of God)

1. Children, obey your parents in the Lord for this is just and right.
2. Honor your father and your mother; this is the first commandment with a promise:
3. (This is the promise) That all may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth.
4. Fathers, do not irritate and provoke your children to anger but rear them (tenderly) in the training and admonition of the Lord.
5. Servants (slaves), be obedient to those who are your physical masters, having respect for them and eager concern to them, in singleness of motive and with all your heart, as to Christ (himself).
6. Not in the way of eye service and only to please men; but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God heartily and with your whole soul;
7. Render service readily with goodwill, as to the Lord and to men,
8. Knowing that for whatever good anyone does, he will receive his reward from the Lord, whether he is slave or free.
9. You masters, act on the same (principle) toward them, and give up threatenings and using violent and abusive words, knowing that He (Jesus) Who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and that there is no respect of persons with Him.
10. In conclusion, be strong in the Lord - be empowered through your union with Him (Jesus); draw strength which His (boundless) might provide.
11. Put on God's whole armor- the armor of a heavy-armed soldiers, which God supples that you may be able successfully to stand up against (all) the strategies and deceits of the devil.
12. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood - contending only with physical opponents - but against the despotisms, against the powers, against (the master spirits who are) the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. (This is truly a spiritual war, not a physical war)
13. Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day (of danger), and having done all (the crisis demands), to stand. (Stand firmly in your place. When you have done all you can do to stand your ground in this spiritual war, then stand, and trust God.)
14. Stand therefore - hold your ground - having tightened the belt of truth around your loins, and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God;
15. And having shod your feet in preparation (to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness and the readiness produced by the good news) of the Gospel of peace.
16. Lift up over all the shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked one (Satan).
17. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God.
18. Pray at all times - on every occasion, in every season - in the Spirit, with all (manner of) prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people).

Philippians 1: 28 - 29, Peace in Christ is a place of Power!

28. And do not [for a moment] be frightened or intimidated in anything by your opponents and adversaries, for such [constancy and fearlessness] will be a clear sign (proof and seal) to them of [their impending] destruction; but [a sure token and evidence] of your deliverance and salvation, and that from God.
29. For you have been granted [the privilege] for Christ's sake not only to believe - adhere to, rely on and trust - in Him but also to suffer in His behalf.

Philippians 4: 4 - 7, Peace in Christ is a place of Power!

4. Rejoice in the Lord always - delight, gladden yourself in Him; again I say Rejoice! [Ps. 37: 4.]
5. Let all men know and perceive and recognize your unselfishness - your considerateness, your forbearing spirit. The Lord is near - He is coming soon.
6. Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition [definite request] with thanksgiving continue to make your wants known to God.
7. And God's peace [be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding, shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4: 13,

13. I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me - I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me.

Colossians 2: (NIV) (Jesus defeated the Devil and has given us authority over him)

13. When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,
14. having cancelled the written code (the old Jewish Law), with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross.
15. And having disarmed the powers and authorities (the Devil and friends), he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. (John 11: 25-26)

Colossians 3: (Ampl.)

22. Servants, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not only when their eyes are on you, as pleasers of men, but in simplicity of purpose (with all your heart) because of your reverence for the Lord and as a sincere expression of your devotion to Him.
23. Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men,
24. Knowing (with all certainty) that it is from the Lord [and not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your (real) reward. [The One Whom] you are actually serving [is] the Lord Christ, the Messiah.
25. For he who deals wrongfully will [reap the fruit of his folly and] be punished for his wrongdoing. And [with God] there is no partiality [no matter what a person's position may be, whether he is a slave or a master].

1 Timothy 5: (Ampl.)

8. If any one fails to provide for his relatives, and especially for those of his own family, he has disowned the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.

1 Timothy 5: 17 - 18 (Ampl.)

17. Let the elders who perform the duties of their office well be considered doubly worthy of honor [and of adequate financial support], especially those who labor faithfully in preaching and teaching.
18. For the Scripture says, You shall not muzzle an ox when it is treading out the grain, and again, The laborer is worthy of his hire.
(Your Pastors and youth workers should be paid and paid well. They work for and are sent my God.)

2 Timothy 1:

7. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity - cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear - but (He has given us a spirit) of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

2 Timothy 2: (Ampl.)

11. The saying is worthy of confidence and sure: If we have died with Him, we shall also live with Him.
12. If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny and disown and reject Him, He will also deny and disown and reject us.
13. If we are faithless, He remains true, for He cannot deny Himself.
14. Remind [the people] of these facts, and [solemnly] charge them in the presence of the Lord to avoid petty controversy over words, which does no good, but upsets and undermines the faith of the hearers.
15. Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurate dividing - rightly handling and skillfully teaching - the Word of Truth.

2 Timothy 2:

21. So whoever cleanses himself [from what is ignoble and unclean] - who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences - will [then himself] be a vessel set apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work.
22. Shun youthful lust and flee from them, and aim at and pursue righteousness - all that is virtuous and good, right living, conformity to the will of God in thought, word and deed. [And aim at and pursue] faith. love, [and] peace - which is harmony and concord with others - in fellowship with all [Christians], who call upon the Lord out of a pure heart.
23. But refuse - shut your mind against, have nothing to do with - trifling (ill-informed, unedifying, stupid) controversies over ignorant questionings, for you know that they foster strife and breed quarrels.
24. And the servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome - fighting and contending. Instead he must be kindly to every one and mild-tempered - preserving the bond of peace; he must be a skilled and suitable teacher, patient and forbearing and willing to suffer wrong.
25. He must correct his opponents with courtesy and gentleness, in the hope that God may grant that they will repent and come to know the Truth - that is, that they will perceive and recognize and become accurately acquainted with and acknowledge it,
26. And that they may come to their senses [and] escape out of the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him, [henceforth] to do His [God's] will.

2 Timothy 3:

16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Hebrews 8: 6 - 13, (Ampl.) The Covenant is in verses 10 - 12

6. But as it now is, He [Christ] has acquired a [priestly ministry which is as much superior and more excellent [than the old] as the covenant - the agreement - of which He is the Mediator (the Arbiter, Agent) is superior and more excellent; [because] it is enacted and rest upon more important (sublimer, higher and nobler) promises.
7. For if that first covenant had been without defect, there would have been no room for another one or an attempt to institute another one.
8. However He finds fault with them, [showing its inadequacy], when He says, Behold, the days will come, says the Lord, when I will make and ratify a new covenant or agreement with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.
9. It will not be like the covenant that I made with their forefathers on the day when I grasped them by the hand to help and relieve them and to lead them out from the land of Egypt, for they did not abide in My agreement with them, and so I withdrew My favor and disregarded them, says the Lord.
10. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will imprint My laws upon their minds, even upon their innermost thoughts and understanding, and engrave them upon their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
11. And it will nevermore be necessary for everyone to teach his neighbor and his fellow citizen or every one his brother, saying, Know - [that is,] perceive, have knowledge of and get acquainted by experience with - the Lord; for all will know Me, from the smallest to the greatest of them.
12. For I will be merciful and gracious toward their sins and I will remember their deeds of unrighteousness no more. [Jer. 31: 31-34]
13. When God speaks of a new [covenant or agreement], He makes the first one obsolete - out of use. And what is obsolete - out of use and annulled because of age - is ripe for disappearance and to be dispensed with altogether.

Hebrews 10: 21 - 31

21. And since we have [such] a great and wonderful and noble Priest (Jesus) [who rules] over the house of God.
22. Let us all come forward and draw near with true (honest and sincere) hearts in unqualified assurance and absolute conviction engendered by faith, [that is, by that learning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness,] having our hearts sprinkled and purified from a guilty (evil) conscience and; with our bodies cleansed with pure water.
23. So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess, and our acknowledgment of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.
24 And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities;
25. Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing - warning, urging and encouraging - one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.
26. For if we go on deliberately and willingly sinning after once acquiring the knowledge of the Truth, there is no longer any sacrifice left to atone for [our] sins - no further offering to which to look forward.

Hebrews 11:

1. Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title-deed) of the things (we) hope for, being the proof of the things (we) do not see and the conviction of their reality - faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.
2. For by (faith), and trust and holy fervor born of faith, the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report.
3. By faith we understand that the worlds (during the successive ages) were framed - fashioned, put in order and equipped for their intended purpose - by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.
4. (Prompted, actuated) by faith Abel brought God a better and more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, because of which it was testified of him that he was righteous - (that is,) that he was upright and in right standing with God - and God bore witness by accepting and acknowledging his gift. And though he died, yet through (the incident) he is still speaking.
5. Because of faith Enoch was caught up and transferred to heaven, so that he did not have a glimpse of death; and he was not found, because God had translated him. For even before he was taken to heaven he received testimony (still on record) that he had pleased and been satisfactory to God.
6. But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him (God). For whoever would come near to God must (necessarily) believe that God exists and that He is the Rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek ( You really do need to go ahead and read all of Hebrews chapter 11).

Hebrews 11: 14 - 16,

14. Now those people who talk as they show plainly that they are in search of a fatherland - their own country.
15. If they had been thinking with [homesick] rememberance of that country from which they were emigrants, they would have found constant opportunity to return to it (sin);
16. But the truth is that they were yearning for and aspiring to a better and more desirable country, that is, a heavenly [one]. For that reason God is not ashamed to be called their God - even to be surnamed their God [the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob]; for He has prepared a city for them.

Hebrews 12: (Jesus is the Mediator)

24. And to Jesus, the Mediator - Go-between, Agent - of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood which speaks [of mercy,] a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel [which cried out for vengeance].

Hebrews 13: 1 - 8,

5. Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money and be satisfied with your present (circumstances); for He (God) Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. (I will) not, (I will) not, (I will) not in any degree leave you helpless, nor forsake nor let (you) down, - Assuredly not!
6. So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper, I will not be sized with alarm - I will not fear or dread or be terrified. What can man do to me?
8. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

Hebrews 13: 20 - 21, (Jesus the Shepard)

20. Now may the God of Peace - [Who is] the Author and Giver of peace - and Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepard of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement [covenant, testament],
21. Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be, and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, the Messiah; to Whom be the glory forever and ever - to the ages of the ages. Also 1 Peter 5:4, John 10:11-18

James 1: 5 - 8, Ampl.

5. If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to every one liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or fault finding, and it will be given him.
6. Only it must be in faith that he asks, with no wavering - no hesitation, no doubting. For the one who wavers (hesitated, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea, that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.
7. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord,
8. [For being as he is] a man of two minds - hesitating, dubious, irresolute - [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything (he thinks, feels, decides)

James 1:

7. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.
8. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.
12. Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried (and wins), he shall received the (victors)crown of Life, which the Lord hath promised to them that (Agapao)love him.
13. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: (because that would be sin)
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away (1) of his own lust, and (2) enticed. (by the devil or others) The devil uses five kinds of attacks to entice you into sin: afflictions, persecution, cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the lust of other things.
(Mark 4: 14-19)

James 1:

12. Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried (and wins), he shall receive the (victors) crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. (If you love him, you will keep his commandments)
13. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: (It took Job 9 months to realize that God was not the one that is giving and then taking away. God is the giver and the devil came to kill steal and destroy.)

James 1:

15. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.(Remember, agape love is the opposite of sin and only happens in your life when you yield completely to God and He lives through you.)
16. Do not err, my beloved brethren.
17. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of  lights (God), with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (He always operates in love.)
18. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of  his creatures (sons and daughters).

James 1:

26. If anyone thinks himself to be religious - pious observant of the external duties of his faith - and does not bridle his tongue, but deludes his own heart, this person's religious service is worthless (futile, barren).
27. External religious worship (religion as it is expressed in outward acts) that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world (also James 2: all)

James 2:

8. If you fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, You shalt (Agapao) love your neighbor as yourself, you do well:
9. But if you have respect to persons, you commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11. For he that said, do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if you commit no adultery, Yet if you kill, you are become a transgressor of the law.
12. So speak you, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
13. For he shall have judgment without mercy, that has shown no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
(Mercy is the opposite of judgment. Mercy is reserved for those who walk in love, and judgment for those who walk in sin.)

James 2:

15. If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16. And one of you say unto them, depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; not withstanding ye give them not those things which are needfull to the body; what doth it profit?
17. Even so faith, if it hath not works (of love), is dead, being alone. Faith without love is dead.

James 2:

19. You believe that God is one; you do well. So do the demons believe, and shudders.

James 3:

13. Who is a wise man and endued (equipped) with knowledge among you? Let him show out of a good conversation (not out of pride) his works with meekness of wisdom.
14. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15. This wisdom (trait) descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
16. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion (disorder) and every evil work.
17. But the wisdom (trait) that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits (of the Spirit), without partiality, and without hypocristy.
18. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

James 4:

3. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lust.

James 4: (Ampl.)

7. So be subject to God. - Stand firm against the devil; resist him and he will flee from you.

1 Peter 1:16: (Ampl.)

16. For it is written, You shall be holy, for I am holy.

1 Peter 2: 21 (Who should we use as our example?)

21. For ever hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

1 Peter 2:

24. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose strips ye were healed.

1 Peter 5:

14. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away (1) of his own lust, and (2) enticed.; (Lust is the driving force or pressure that starts with Satan in the mental realm when the mind is not renewed by the word.)
15. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (St.John 10:10)

2 Peter 1:

1. Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ:
(this is the Agapao Love filled new Christian)

2. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises; that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature (His Love nature), having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (a driving force or pressure).
5. And besides this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6. And to knowledge self-control and to self-control endurance; and to endurance godliness;
7. And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness (agape)Love. (This is the mature Agape Love Christian)
8. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be idle nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (His divine nature is available to you now. You can walk in it as soon as you learn to yield to it.)
9. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
(operating in Agape Love makes you aware of your righteousness).

10. So then the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and relationship with God sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: (if you don't you could fall)
11. For so an entrance shall be given to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:

20. Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

1 John 1: 7,

7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1 John 1: 9 - 10. (For salvation)

9. If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises] and will forgive our sins and continuously cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 2: 1

1. My little children, I write you these things so that you may not violate God's law and sin; but if any one should sin, we have an Advocate (One Who will intercede for us) with the Father; [it is] Jesus Christ [the all] righteous.,(also John 16: 23-28, John 20:31)

1 John 2: 6

6. Whoever says he abided in Him (Jesus) ought to walk and conduct himself in the same way in which He (Jesus) walked and conducted Himself.

1 John 3: 14 - 24

20. In whatever our hearts in self-accusation make us feel guilty and condemn us. For He (God)is above and greater than our conscience (our hearts), and He (God) knows everything - nothing is hidden from Him.
21. And, beloved, if our conscience (our hearts) do not accuse us - if they do not make us feel guilty and condemn us - we have confidence (complete assurance and boldness) before God.
22. And we receive from Him (Jesus) whatever we ask for, because we (watchfully) obey His orders - observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us - and (habitually) practice what is pleasing to Him.
23. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and (agapao) love one another, as he gave us commandment.
24. All who keep His commandments (who obey His orders and follow His plan, live and continue to live, to stay and) abide in Him, and He in them. - They Let Christ be a home to them and they are the home of Christ. And by this we know and understand and have the proof that He [really] lives and makes His home in us, by the (Holy) Spirit Whom He has given us.

1 John 4: 9 - 14,(Ampl.)

9. In this the love of God was made manifest (displayed), where we are concerned, in that God sent His Son, the only begotten or unique [Son], into the world so that we might live through him.
10. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins. Also Col. . 1:3, 15,19

1 John 4: (also Colossians 3:14-16)(KJv)

6. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. (Notice that it takes Spirit filled love.)
7. Beloved, let us (Agapao) love one another: for (agape) love is of God; and every one that(Agapao) loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8. He that (Agapao) loveth not knoweth not God; for God is (agape)love,
9. In this was manifested the (agape)love of God toward us, because that God sent his; only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10. Herein is (agape)love, not that we (Agapao)loved God, but that he (Agapao)loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11. Beloved, if God so (Agapao)loved us, we ought also to (Agapao)love one another.
12. No man hath seen God at any time. If we (agape)love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his(Agapao)love is perfected (or matured) in us.
13. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because (1) he hath given us of his Spirit.(This is how the Spirit tells us that we are saved)
14. (2) And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
15. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God,
16. (3) And we have known and believed the (agape)love that God hath to us. God is (agape)love;(4) and he that dwelleth in (agape)love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17. (5) Herein is our (agape)love made perfect(or mature), that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as he is(now), so are we (to be now) in this world. (Victorious, with the enemy totally defeated, continually pulling the lost up out of the depths of sin and sorrow.)
18. (6) There is no fear in (agape)love: but perfect (agape)love casteth out fear: because; fear hath torment. (God tempts no man) He that feareth is not made perfect in (the agape Love, anointed personality of God)love.

1 John 4: (Ampl.)

17. In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment - with assurance and boldness to face Him - because as He is (today), so are we in this world.
18. There is no fear (of anything) in love - dread does not exist; but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and (so) he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love - is not yet grown into love's complete perfection.
19. We love Him, because He first loved us.
20. If any one says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God Whom he has not seen.
21. And this command we have from Him, that he who loves God shall love his brother also.

1 John 5:

10. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
(full and complete)

12. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
14. And this is the confidence which we have in Him; that if we ask anything according to His will He listens to and hears us.
15. And if we know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him. (You can continue down to verse 20 then 1 John 5:16-18)

1 John 5: 17 - 18

17. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
18. We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

2 John

10. If any one comes to you and does not bring this doctrine (is disloyal to what Jesus Christ taught), do not receive him (this teacher of Evil) – do not accept him, do not welcome or admit him – into (your) house or bid him Godspeed or give him any encouragement.
11. For he who wishes him success – who encourages him, wishing him Godspeed – is a partaker in his evil doings.

Jude:

17. But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18. How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lust.
19. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
(God doesn't separate them. They do it themselves by operating in their will not Gods' will.)

20. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
(and you're the one that decides to take the time to pray in the Spirit.)

21. (you) Keep yourselves in the (agape)love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.(keeping yourself in the love of God is your decision. You're the one that decides that you're going to walk in love, not God.)

Rev. 3: 15 - 22

15. I know your (record of) works and what you are doing; you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot!
16. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue you out of My (God’s) mouth!
17. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered and grown wealthy, and I am in need of nothing; and do not realize and understand that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind and naked. (Hos. 12:8)
18. Therefore I counsel you to purchase from Me ( the God kind of ) gold refined and tested by fire, that you may be (truly) wealthy, and white clothes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nudity from being seen, and salve to put on your eyes that you may see.
19. Those whom I (dearly and tenderly) love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten – (that is,) I discipline and instruct them. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal, and repent – change your mind and attitude. (Prov. 3:12)
20. Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door (of your heart), I will come in to him (or her) and will eat with him (her), and he (shall eat) with Me.
21. He who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant him to sit beside Me on My throne, as I Myself overcame (was victorious) and sat down beside My Father on His throne.
22. He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the (Holy) Spirit says to the assemblies (the churches).

Rev. 21: 6 - 8

6. And he said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I (myself) will give water without price from the fountain (springs) of the water of Life. (Isa. 55:1)
7. He who is victorious shall inherit all these things, and I will be God to him and he shall be My son.
8. But as for the cowards and the ignoble and the contemptible and the cravenly lacking in courage and the cowardly submissive; and as for the unbelieving and faithless; and as for the depraved and defiled with abominations; and as for murderers and the lewd and adulterous and the practicers of magic arts and the idolaters (those who give supreme devotion to any one or anything other than God) and all liars (those who knowingly convey untruth by word or deed, all of these shall have) their part in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone. This is the second death.

Rev. 22: 12-16,

12. Behold, I am coming soon, and I shall bring My wages and rewards with Me, to repay and render to each one just what his own actions and his own work merit.
13. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last. (The Before all and at the End of all)
14. Blessed (happy and to be envied) are those who cleanse their garments that they may have the authority and right to (approach) the tree of life and to enter in through the gates to the city.
15. (But) without are the dogs and those who practice sorceries and impurity (the lewd, adulterers) and the murderers and idolaters and every one who loves and deals in falsehood.
16. I, Jesus, have sent My messenger (angel) to you to witness and to give you assurance of these things for the church (assemblies). I am (both) the Root (the source) and the Offspring of David, the radiant and bright Morning Star.

This is the record that God gave of his Son, that Jesus came to give us life, and to give us life more abundant. Pray with me now and fill your life with Life.
Father, I do believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and that he was raised the third day. Lord, I pray that you would forgive me of my sins for I forgive all those that have sinned against me. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and guide me, fill me with your Holy Spirit, give me the strength to withstand anything the Devil can throw at me, and mold me into what you would have me to be, I pray in Jesus name, Amen.
Congratulations you are now a new creature in Christ! Well done!
