Lesson: Health and Healing God's way: mental, physical, spiritual, social

     God's way is the only way. God has opened so many doors to insure our health. Think about the things He has done. He has created each of us with a body that is pretty much self-healing, at least for small injuries. I mean, even if you have smoked for many years. If you quit smoking your lunges will heal themselves, over time. Minor scrapes and bruises heal themselves. God, the creator of all things, even created doctors to insure our health. And God directly heals people. The Word says God Loves You. You cannot Love someone and wish bad things on them. God Loves you and paid the price for you to have miracle healings.

Isaiah 53:
4. Surely he (Jesus) hath (already) born our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

     He was wounded for our transgressions (He paid the price for our sins). He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him (He paid the price for anything that disturbs or punishes our peace so that we can have real inner peace); and with his stripes we are healed. There is nothing else that needs to be done. God has paid the price for all of this; so why don't I have it. Why am I sick? Why am I upset? Why don't I have peace in my heart and spirit?
     The main reason is that you don't have enough of the right type of Word in you. There are a lot of sick people out there who have been in church for a long time. They go to church and hear the sermon every week and still have a lot of situations that the devil is doing to them. I'm not saying that bad thing don't happen to good people. I'm just saying that the vast majority of them you can do something about. When you get saved you are no longer a sinner. You are now a child of the living God and that new relationship with God brings some really great benefits.

John 14: (Amplified)
12. I (Jesus) assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if any one steadfastly believes in Me (Jesus), he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I (Jesus) go to the Father. (You have the power of Jesus in you, because the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost live in you.)
13. And I will do - I Myself will grant - whatever you may ask in My (Jesus) name so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son.
14. (Yes) I will grant - will do for you - whatever you shall ask in My name (Jesus).
15. If you [really] love Me you will keep (obey) My commands.
16. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener and Standby) that He may remain with you forever,
17. The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him, nor know and recognize Him, But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you and will be in you.
18. I will not leave you orphans - comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless - I will come [back] to you.
19. Just a little while now and the world will not see Me any more (because He will be crucified), but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.
20. At that time - when that day comes - you will know [for yourself] that I am in My Father, and you [are] in Me, and I [am] in you.
21. The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me, and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father. And I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him - I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him. (in all things, always, even: protection, health, etc. Matthew 28:18-20; also John 14: 23-26)

     If you're serious with God, God will be serious with you. If you are a wishy washy Christian then that is all of a relationship you have with God. If you really want the serious good stuff from God you need to get off of the fence. Brothers and sisters it is time to put the plow in the ground and stop fooling around. If you only showed up for work half the time and came in late anytime you felt like it. Your boss would fire you and he would be right to do that. Your boss would feel that you're not serious about your relationship with him and your job and why should he waist time on you if your not serious. You know, anyone can talk the talk but only real believers walk the walk. God loves you. He wants the best for you. He wants you to be blessed. But if you're not serious why should He spend time on you. Who do you listen to? Who directs your path? Sinners, criminals, and ungodly people, or are you serious with God?
Pray with me now.
     Father I pray that you would forgive me of my sins. Father refresh me, guide me, and open my heart to the leading of your Holy Spirit so that I can really know the voice of God and truly follow Him. Father, come into my heart and save me I pray in Jesus' name.

Psalm 1:
1. Blessed is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather.
2. But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law - the precepts, instructions, the teachings of God - he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. [2 Tim. 3: 16; Gal. 3: 1 - 29; Rom. 13: 8 - 10.]
3. And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth his fruit in its season; his leaf also shall not fade or wither, and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity. [Jer. 17: 7, 8.]
4. Not so the wicked [those disobedient and living without God are not so]. But they are like the chaff [worthless, dead, without substance] which the wind drives away.
5. Therefore the wicked, those disobedient [and living without God], shall not stand [justified] in the judgment; nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous [those who are upright and in right standing with God].
6. For the Lord knows and is fully acquainted with the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly [those living outside God's will] shall perish.

The blessings of God come to the children who walk the walk, and not just talk the talk, thank you Jesus!

Isaiah 54: (He is our Protection)
17. But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgement you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servant of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]. This is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from me - this is that which I impart to them as their justification - says the Lord.
also Isaiah 55:11-13, Psalm 23, 34, 91

Isaiah 55:
1. Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the water, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. (not bad)
3. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure (confirmed) mercies of David.

Isaiah 55:
11. So shall my word (God's Word) be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing where to I sent it.
12. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

     The Words of God are creative words. God created the world by saying words and He has given those words to us to use, so say them! When God redeemed us from sin on Calvary's cross He undid the mess that Adam created. He gave us back the original job that He had given to Adam. To control and subdue the earth, in a word, take charge of earth. And that includes taking control over Satan. We control and subdue Satan, the world and everything else with the words that come out of our mouth. It is important that we only say God filled positive words! God filled words that create good things and positive results, always building up and never tearing down.

John 10:
10. The thief (Satan) comes only in order that he may steal and may kill and may destroy. I (Jesus) came that they (you) may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance -to the full, till it overflows.
11. I am the Good Shepherd. The good shepherd risks and lays down his (own) life for the sheep (you).

     Satan is only here for no good and God has put us in charge. I'm not here to clean up Satan's messes. I'm here to stop him from making messes. And every Word that comes out of our mouths either gives him permission to kill, steal or destroy, or stops him from making a any messes.

Matthew 16: 13 - 19
19. And I will give unto thee (you) the keys of the kingdom of heaven (which is the understanding and authority to operate in and with the Spirit of God): and whatsoever thou (you) shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou (you) shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

     What have you loosed? I think I'm getting a cold. I think she is getting cancer. Or are you binding the Devil.
     SAY THIS: Satan, I'm a child of the Living God and He has given me the authority to bind you and in Jesus' name I bind you from destroying my family. You can't do anything to my family in Jesus' name, and I thank God for all of the blessings that He has poured out on my family. For He has called my family to be filled with wisdom, knowledge and skills, a firm walk and love of God and each other. Thank you Jesus for making my family healthy and giving each of us wisdom every day to eat and do healthy things in Jesus' name. Satan, you are bound from destroying this country in Jesus' name. Satan, you are a loser and everyone knows it, in Jesus' name. Father, I thank you for all of the blessings that you have given to us. The blessing you have poured out on this great country of ours and your loving kindness, healing, and grace, in Jesus' name.

Ephesians : 2 (Ampl.)
4. But God! So rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us,
5. Even when we were dead [slain] by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ. - He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life which He quickened Him. [For] it is by grace - by His favor and mercy which you did not deserve - that you are saved ( delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation ).
6. And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together - giving us joint seating with Him - in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus, the Messiah, the Anointed One.
7. He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus.
8. For it is by grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves - of your own doing, it came not through your own striving - but it is the gift of God;
9. Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demand], lest any man should boast. - It is not the result of what any one can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.

Ephesians 3: (KJV)
15. Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named (Jesus),
16. That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17. That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye (you), being rooted and ground in love,
18. May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breath, and length, and depth, and height;
19. And to know the love of Christ, which passeth (passes) knowledge, that ye (you) might be filled with all the fulness of God. (also Luke : 4: 18-19, John 16: 23 - 28)

Ephesians 5:
1. Therefore be imitators of God – copy Him and follow His example – as well-beloved children (imitate their father).
2. And Walk in Love – esteeming and delighting in one another – as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God (for you, so that it became) a sweet fragrance.

     You see, your health, your family and situations outside of your family can be improved or completely corrected by doing what God has called you to do. Your ability to do this with real strength and authority depend on how much Word you know. How well you understand your relationship with God and How well you understand the depth of God' Love for you. After all, He really does love you this much!

John 3: (Amplified Bible)
16. For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only-begotten (unique) Son, so that whosoever believes in (trusts, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish - come to destruction, be lost - but have eternal (everlasting) life.
17. For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge - to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on - the world; but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.
