This is a long list of Healing Related Bible Verses. Some people claim that all christian doctrine is a personal opinion, these verses state clearly and without question, God's opinion and judgement.

Old Testament

How to receive a healing:

1. Romans 10:17, tells us that faith comes from hearing and hearing from the word of God.
2. James 3:5-8 (ESV), 5. So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! 6. And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life,[a] and set on fire by hell.[b] 7. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind, 8. but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
3. James 5:16, 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.[a].
4. By learning and remembering God's Word we open the door to healing and victory in our lives.

1. Exodus 15:26, and said, "If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you." (Because they were walking the walk and talking the Talk. They were living the life.)

2. Exodus 23:25, So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. (They were living and doing what God told them to do.)

3. Deuteronomy 7:15, And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.

4. 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

5. Psalms 3: 5, I lay down and slept [safely]; I awakened, for the Lord sustains me.

6. Psalm 27: 14, Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.

7. Psalms 28: 7, The Lord is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him.

8. Psalms 30: 2-3, O LORD my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me. You brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

9. Psalms 31: 24, Be strong and let your hearts take courage, All you who wait for and confidently expect the Lord.

10. Psalms 34: 19, Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

11. Psalms 41: 3, The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.

12. Psalms 42: 11, Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

13. Psalms 55: 22, Cast your burden on the Lord [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail)

14. Psalms 73: 4-5, They have no struggles; their bodies are healthy and strong. They are free from the burdens common to man; they are not plagued by human ills.

15. Psalms 91: 5-6, He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.

16. Psalms 103: 1-4 NKJV, Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! {2} Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: {3} Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, {4} Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

17. Psalms 107: 19-20, Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destruction.

18. Psalms 147: 3, He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.

19. Proverbs 3: 7-8, Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. 8. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.

20. Proverbs 4: 20-22, My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. {21} Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; {22} For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.

21. Proverbs 16: 24, Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

22. Proverbs 17: 22, A happy heart is good medicine and a joyful mind causes healing, But a broken spirit dries up the bones.

23. Proverbs 18:21, Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.

24. Isaiah 40: 29, He gives strength to the weary, And to him who has no might He increases power.

25. Isaiah 53: 4-5, Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

26. Isaiah 58: 8, Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.

27. Isaiah 61: 1, "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

28. Jeremiah 3: 22, "Return, you backsliding children, And I will heal your backslidings." "Indeed we do come to You, For You are the LORD our God. (Stop sinning and follow God)

29. Jeremiah 17: 14, Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise. (If you do what God tells you to do, God will help you.)

30. Jeremiah 33: 6, 'Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.

31. Job 4: 3-4, Behold, you have admonished and instructed many, And you have strengthened weak hands. Your words have helped the one who was stumbling to stand, and you have strengthened feeble knees.

32. Hosea 6: 1, Come, and let us return to the LORD; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up.

33. Hosea 14: 4, "I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from him.

34. Malachi 4: 2, But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

New Testament

35. Matthew 4:4, But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” (Get serious with God and He will get serious with you.)

36. Matthew 4: 23-24, And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

37. Matthew 8: 5-8, Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.” And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. (Get serious with God and He will get serious with you.)

38. Matthew 8: 7, And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”

39. Matthew 8: 13, Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you." And his servant was healed that same hour. (He Acted on his faith)

40. Matthew 8: 16, When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, (He used the Word of God on the problem)

41. Matthew 9: 21-22, For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” 22 But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.

42. Matthew 9:28-29, When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.” (Get serious with God and He will get serious with you.)

43.Matthew 9: 35, Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.(He was living and saying the Word)

44.Matthew 10: 1, And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. (Because they where living and saying the Word)

45. Matthew 10: 8, "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

46. Matthew 12: 22, Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.

47. Matthew 12:36-37, I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

48. Matthew 14: 14, And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.

49 Matthew 15: 28, Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour. (She was saying the Word)

50. Matthew 15: 30, Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.

51. Matthew 18:19, Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.

52. Matthew 21: 14, Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.

53. Mark 5:34, And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”

54. Mark 10:52, And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.

55. Mark 11: 22-24, And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

56. Mark 16: 17-18, And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

57. Luke 4: 40, When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them. (Get serious with God and He will get serious with you.)

58. Luke 5: 17, Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

59. Luke 8: 47-48, Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately. And He said to her, "Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace."

60. Luke 6: 18-19, as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed. And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.

61. Luke 9: 6, So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.(The twelve are sent out)

62. Luke 9: 11, But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing.

63. Luke 10: 8-9, "Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you. {9} "And heal the sick there, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.'(The seventy are sent out)

64. Luke 17: 15, And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, (The story of the ten lepers)

65. John 8: 36, If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

66. Acts 4:12, And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

67. Acts 4: 29-31 (Healing of the lame man at the Gate Beautiful). "Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, {30} "by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus." {31} And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

68. Acts 3:16, And his name—by faith in his name—has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all. (Get serious with God and He will get serious with you.)

69. Acts 5: 16, Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

70. Romans 8: 2, For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

71. Romans 8: 11, But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. (Get serious with God and He will get serious with you.)

72. Romans 8:31, What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

73. Romans 10:17, So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. (Get serious with God and He will get serious with you.)

74. Romans 12:1-2, I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. 75. 1 Corinthians 12: 9, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,

76. 2 Corinthians 4: 10-11, always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

77. Philippians 2:13, For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

78. Philippians 4: 6-7, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

79. 1 Thessalonians 5: 23, Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

80. 2 Timothy 1: 7, For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (Get serious with God and He will get serious with you.)

81. Hebrews 4:12, For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Get serious with God and He will get serious with you.)

82. James 1:17, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

83. James 1:22-27, But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless. ... (Get serious with God and He will get serious with you.)

84. James 5: 13-16, Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. 14. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

85. 1 Peter 2: 24, who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by whose stripes you were healed.

86. 3 John 1:2, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.



The first step to a new life is to repent of your sins. Just say these words.
Father, forgive me of my sins, lead and guide me in the things I need to do. Lead me to a great Christian church and great teaching. I pray in Jesus name.
