For Starters
Everything that you see here at Apple Sauce Kids is free and you are welcome to copy and use it in anyway you wish, with very few exceptions. And we mean just that, please share the things that you find here with your friends, place them on your Internet site, or whatever you wish. That is why we are here !!!!

To simply printout anything that you find here.

Simply go to and LEFT click on the item that you want, then LEFT click on your browser's PRINT button. It will automatically print out on your printer (BUT this method will not save it to your hard drive). A second method of printing something out is to RIGHT click on the item and then pick what you want to do from the list that appears.

How to copy, save, and work with the materials you find here.
Method #1
1.One method of directly saving an item (This works very well with pictures) is to RIGHT click on the item and then pick what you want to do from the list that appears, as in "Save Image As". "Save Image As" allows you to directly save pictures to your hard drive. In the case of a picture that is displayed in the "Landscape" format (The picture is wide instead of being tall.), after it is saved, change the "Page Setup" to "Landscape" before printing. This will have to be done for many of our pictures or part of the picture will be cut off in the printing process.

Method #2
1. Go to the internet site and the exact area that you wish to copy.
2. High light the area you want by placing the cursor at the beginning of the area, hold the mouse button down and drag the cursor across the area then release the mouse button.
3. Press the CONTROL key and the C key at the same time. The materials are now copied into your computer, but are not saved. You now need to paste the materials into one of your files and then save them.
4. Click on the X square in the top right hand corner of your screen to get out of the screen. You can set the Internet screen that you are viewing aside for a little while by clicking the small down arrow(Windows 3.1), or the small dash(Windows 95 and newer), in the top right hand corner of your screen. This just reduces the size of the screen that you are viewing to a little box containing the file name at the bottom of your screen, it does not take you off of the Internet. You can get the screen back by clicking the little up arrow (Windows 3.1), or the square in the little button on the right end of the little box containing the file name next to the "X" (Windows 95 and newer).
5. Bring up the file that you want to paste into and click on the place were you want to insert the new materials. Press the CONTROL key and the V key at the same time. Click on FILE and SAVE AS. You have just copied and pasted code from the Internet into one of your files.
6. By using your word processing program, you can change or rearrange these materials any way you wish. For instance, you can separate pictures and graphics from the text materials. In the case of a maze puzzle (for example, but it also works for other materials) you can separate the maze from the instructions and lesson. In that way you only have to make copies of the puzzle to hand out to your class. You don't have to make copies of materials that you don't want to give to the whole class.

To copy any of the HTML source code that you see here or at many other sites on the Internet follow these instructions. Note: some of the source code that you will find at other web sites is "locked" or coded in such a way that you can not copy it. All of the code at Apple Sauce Kids is open. Please feel free to copy and use what you want with very few exceptions.

How to copy, and save, both the materials, and source
1. Go to the Internet site and the exact area that you wish to copy.
2. At the top of your screen click on the VIEW menu, then VIEW SOURCE CODE. Your computer will show you the source code starting at the top of that page, so you will have to look down through the page until you get to the place that you want to copy.
3. Look down through the source code until you find the area that you want to copy and high light the area you want by placing the cursor at the beginning of the area, hold the mouse button down and drag the cursor across the area then release the mouse button.
4. Press the CONTROL key and the C key at the same time. The code is now copied into your computer, but it is not saved. You now need to paste the code into one of your files and then save it.
5. Click on the X square in the top right hand corner of your screen to get out of the source code screen.

Bring up the file that you want to paste this new code into and click on the place were you want to insert this new code. Press the CONTROL key and the V key at the same time. Click on FILE and SAVE. You have just copied and pasted code from the Internet into one of your files.
