What is Apple Sauce Kids?
What is Apple Sauce Kids (ASK)? We are involvement ideas, and materials. You have "asked" God to show you how to get involved with kids. You have asked for new ideas, games, and activities. Well, this site is God's way of answering those prayers. We are involvement ideas, and materials by the pile, and everything is FREE. There are no more excuses, get out there and help a kid.

Apple Sauce Kids (ASK) is truly becoming a bridge from where you are to where you want to be in Christ. A bridge from who you are to who you want to be in Christ. The Apple Sauce Kids web site went on line Jan. 1, 1997, and is now part of Ask Ministries, Inc., a tax exempt not for profit ministry that operates out of Camden, Delaware, U.S.A.. I can hardly believe what God has done with the seeds that have been planted here!

This site contains both "Low Tech" and "High Tech" pages. By that I mean that there are many people in poor and remote locations that are just barely getting onto the Internet. This site attempts to provide materials to all people and all believers. You will notice that our home page, the gateway to the site, is very simple, even plain. It is done to allow access for the simplest computers with the worst connections so that those users can get to the materials that they and their equipment can handle. We also have High Tech pages for the people who are fortunate enough to have better equipment and better connections. We attempt to be as even handed and fair as technology permits us to be. We are all God's children.

Proverbs 11: 1, (Ampl.)
1.
A false balance and unrighteous dealings are extremely offensive and shamefully sinful to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight.
Proverbs 11: 25, (Ampl.)
2.
The liberal (giving) person shall be enriched, and he who waters shall himself be watered.

You will note that everything is copy righted. This has not been done to keep anyone from using anything on this site. It is a legal defensive posture, to keep someone from taking something from this site and then trying to charge us for using our own stuff that they now claim is theirs. As long as you do not try to do anything that is shady with our materials, you will not have any trouble from us. We are here to provide free materials. We are not here to provide free materials for you to sell. If you like this site, please Click Here and recommend it to a friend.

Our Mission:
We will provide every idea, tool and product that we can find to the service of Christ and those in youth ministry.

Statement of Faith:
No smoke and mirrors, just Word.
John 3: 16-17, (Ampl.)
16.
For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only-begotten (unique) Son, so that whosoever believes in (trusts, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish - come to destruction, be lost - but have eternal (everlasting) life.
17.
For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge - to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on - the world; but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.

Romans 10: 8-10
8.
But what does it say? The Word is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, the Word - the message- of faith, which we preach.
9.
Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in and rely on the truth) that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10.
For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses - declares openly and speaks out freely his faith - and confirms (his) salvation.

Romans 15: 16-18
16.
And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses unto justification. (Judgment is the opposite of justification and condemnation is the opposite of righteousness consciousness.)
17.
For if by one man's offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
(Righteousness is a gift of God that has to be received, just like you receive health and healing and salvation. You use the same simple faith to receive any of the gifts of God.)
18.
Therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Romans 8: 9
9.
But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the (Holy)Spirit of God (really) dwells within you - directs and controls you, But if any one does not possess the (Holy) Spirit of Christ, he is none of His - he does not belong to Christ (is not truly a child of God)

Psalms 23: all
1.
The Lord is my Shepard; I shall not want.
2.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Isaiah 54:10-17
17.
No weapon that is formed against thee (you) shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee (you) in judgment thou (you) shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

James 3: 13-18
13.
Who is a wise man and endued (equipped) with knowledge among you? Let him show out of a good conversation (not out of pride) his works with meekness of wisdom.
14.
But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15.
This wisdom (trait) descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
16.
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion (disorder) and every evil work.
17.
But the wisdom (trait) that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits (of the Spirit), without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18.
And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

St. John 14: 10-14
10.
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. (It takes God filled words to produce God filled action.)
11.
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me or else believe me for the very works' sake. (That same heavenly Father that dwelleth in Jesus is the same Father that dwelleth in me and you, if you are saved, and anything he would do through a yielded Jesus he is willing and able to do through a yielded me. He is no respecter of persons.)
12.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. (St.Mark 16:14-18)
13.
And whatsoever ye (you) shall ask in my (and our family) name (Jesus), that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14.
If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.

Galatians 5: 22-26
22.
But the fruit of the Spirit is (agape) love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness,
23.
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust.
25.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26.
Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Proverbs 4: 19-23
19.
The way of the wicked is as deep darkness; they do not know at what they stumble. [John 12:35].
20.
My son, attend to my (God's) words; consent and submit to my sayings.
21.
Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart.
22.
For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.
23.
Keep your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.

Mark 10: 29-30 (Jesus the source of Blessings)
29.
Jesus said, Truly, I tell you, there is no one who has given up and left house or brother or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for My sake and for the Gospel,
30.
Who will not receive a hundred times as much now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life. (also Luke 18:24-30)

Mark 11: 22-26
22.
And Jesus replying said to them, Have faith in God (constantly).
23.
Truly, I tell you, whoever says to this mountain (a real mountain or a mountain of a problem), Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! And does not doubt at all in his heart, but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.
24.
For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe - trust and be confident - that it is granted to you, and you will (get it).
25.
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26.
But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Galatians 6: 8-18
8.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not (don't quit).
10.
As we have there opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
16.
And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. (The Israel that follows God in truth and in Spirit.)
17.
From henceforth let no man trouble me for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
18.
brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

1 Corinthians 12: 4 - 12, (Amp.)
4.
Now there are distinctive varieties and distributions of endowments (gifts, extraordinary powers distinguishing certain Christians, due to the power of divine grace operating in their souls by the Holy Spirit) and they vary, but the [Holy] Spirit remains the same.
5.
And there are distinctive varieties of service and ministration, but it is the same Lord [Who is served].
6.
And there are distinctive varieties of operation [of working to accomplish things], but it is the same God Who inspires and energizes them all in all.
7.
But to each one is given the manifestation of the [Holy] Spirit [the evidence, the spiritual illumination of the [Spirit] for good and profit.
8.
To one is given in and through the [Holy] Spirit [the power to speak] a message of wisdom, and to another [the power to express] a word of knowledge and understanding according to the same [Holy] Spirit:
9.
To another [wonder-working] faith by the same [Holy] Spirit, to another the extraordinary powers of healing by the one Spirit.
10.
To another the working of miracles, to another prophetic insight (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose}; to another the ability to discern and distinguish between [utterances of true] spirits [and false ones], to another various kinds of unknown] tongues, to another the ability to interpret [such] tongues.
11.
All these [gifts, achievements, abilities] are inspired and brought to pass by one and the same [Holy] Spirit, Who apportions to each person individually [exactly] as He chooses.
12.
For just as the body is a unity and yet has many parts, and all the parts, though many, form [only] one body, so it is with Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

Truer words could not have been written to describe the love walk we share with Christ. The love walk with Christ is born as a fruit of the Spirit, not of the flesh. These two realms or forces never mix, light never has fellowship with darkness nor does sin and death ever mix with life and the Spirit. Both cases are exact opposites.

Galatians 5: 14-17
16.
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
17.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would.
I think that covers the basics.
