As a fun reinforcement for our lesson, I will find a picture or clip art that pertains to the lesson and make it a size that fits well in an 8 1/2 x 11 page. I make 2 copies ( or how ever many teams you want to have). I then cut these pictures into the same amount of puzzle shaped pieces (10-12 seem to work well). Keep these individual picture pieces together in sandwich bags, divide up into teams and have a competition to see who can put together the puzzle first.-- My class of 5-6 graders really enjoy this.
