Apple Sauce Kids

Preschool, Learn Bible Characters

1.      "SIMON SAYS" WITH A TWIST (GAME): Play a version of "Simon Says" appropriate to the Bible lesson, i.e., "Moses Says," "Elijah Says," "Jesus Says," etc. The twist is that when you don?t say "_______ says," the kids are to do the OPPOSITE. For example, if you say "_______ says ?hop two steps forward,?" they follow the instructions. But if you just say "Hop 2 steps forward," they are to hop 2 steps BACKWARD.

2.      Guess your name game: Each player has the name of a person in the Bible pinned on their back. No one is to know who they are. All of the players mingle together and ask question of each other until they figure out who they are. The game can also be played with the books of the Bible and several other ways.
(Special Thanks to Steve Bordley from Delaware for this great idea)
